gotta say, the breakie was amazin with loads of choices, especially the haggis! also, sheila and her hubby were super friendly and cooked us a fab dinner when we arrived late. the lodge had a cozy vibe, and it was nice to chill by the fire. loved the twin room with its private bathroom too, really comfy! waking up to birds in the garden was a lovely touch.
only bit was that it was really quiet since we were the only ones there, and it got a bit chilly at night.

Unique decor style creates a cozy atmosphere.
Finding the lodge was a headache. GPS led us astray, and the dirt path we ended up on made us question our navigation skills. The room was overly hot at night, making it hard to sleep comfortably, and it seemed impossible to regulate the temperature. While the breakfast was excellent, the lack of a proper dinner menu left us feeling disappointed.

Quirky atmosphere with cozy twin room featuring a separate lounge and dining area, complete with a fridge and complimentary lemonades. The variety of teas, coffees, and generous supply of milks added a nice touch to our stay.
Finding the place can be a real challenge, as GPS often leads you astray.

A welcoming atmosphere from the start makes this place truly special. The delicious breakfast features freshly sourced ingredients, and the smoked salmon is a must-try. navigating to the lodge can be challenging, with GPS often leading you astray, and the room temperature proved too hot at night, impacting sleep. the location's natural beauty and the warm hospitality overshadowed these minor issues.

Wonderful getaway in nature
Had such a lovely stay! The studio room was super nice, and waking up to the view was just amazing. Sheila was so welcoming and gave us great tips for exploring the area. Breakfast was a highlight — seriously, try the smoked salmon! Only thing to note is it’s a bit tricky to get to without a car.
